I have always been interested in science, as a child I loved dinosaurs and planets and the stars. For most of my school days though it was just a hobby, and I wanted to be an architect. When I got to 6th form though I suddenly changed my mind and wanted to study chemistry, I think it was all the cool experiments, explosions and fire. I enjoyed chemistry at 6th form and it was ok at university, but I didn’t do well in it. I travelled for a few years in Asia, and when I came back I went back to uni and studied astrophysics, which I love.
