I would have to say maybe something like M61, The Black Eye Galaxy. It is a very strange galaxy where the mass and stars in the centre rotate one way about the galactic centre, but those further out in the disk, rotate the opposite way which is very odd. Plus it looks cool.

Have to say that it would be our own galaxy – such a beautiful swirl – what’s not to love 😉 And you can see it every clear night (away from light pollution).

It has to be The Milky Way. If you can go camping in the countryside then I recommend that you look up on a clear night. If you search across the sky, you should be able to find a thick band of night sky that’s lighter than the rest – that’s the arm of our galaxy stretching out for millions of millions of millions of kilometres. It’s filled with stars and planets and possibilities.

That truly astounds me and fills me with awe, and I can’t describe anything like it.
