The most peculiar thing about my job is this – I’m using mathematics to understand our universe. I find this very weird because we don’t feel like our lives are made out of maths… so why should maths explain everything? Is maths something we invent to understand the universe OR do we discover maths. Perhaps everything is made out of maths but we just can’t see it yet….
