I try to break them down. If I have to face an important challenge, I subdivided it in smaller challenges and easier or less time-consuming to face. Then, I can go one by one and solving them independently. First, you understand the challenge, plan possible solutions and then solve them one by one. Do not panic!

The way to overcome daily challenges is positivity, planning, and fun! If I am struggling with a problem, or many problems, then I will write it down. This lets me see everything that I need to do, and I can start thinking about the next important step : How am I going to do it and how long will that take.

After that I deal with each individual challenge, and try to work my way through to the other side. The next bit is fun! Make sure you give yourself time to relax – your life isn’t about work. You need to remember to care for yourself and relax sometimes. Also, I like to listen to music whilst I work, it makes me happy and also gives me motivation to keep on working

      I hope this helps! 🙂

Each day I look at what I need to do and see if they can be made into smaller easier to do bits. Starting with an easy one I then think, well that was easy, so the next one will be easy, build up my confidence in what I do and show myself that I can do it, and then the challengers get overcome. However, they are challengers and sometimes they are really hard, but perseverance is something that most scientists learn very quickly. Science is about failing so we can find why things failed, tried to fix it and make it work. I fail way more than I succeed, but I know in the end I will have done something really cool that no one will have ever done, and that knowledge gets me past the really hard parts.

With persistence! Usually my challenges are related to the computer programs I write, so it’s often a matter of not giving up and just keeping going!
